  Stopped of today for a bite to eat today, wife ordered a jacket potato with beans and salad, as simple a meal as you can get really. Potato was delivered cut into quarters, rotten in the middle and beans stone cold, I took it back to the till and asked the young lady if she could replace it. Yes sir I'm sorry. Five minutes later the wattress comes over, I'm sorry sir we don't have any potatoes left, so my wife said I'll have beans on toast. That was ok but no offer of the price difference between the two. As we got up to leave I said I'm going to see someone about this, wife said just leave it and let's go. As a qualified food auditor I'm appalled and suggest you look at your staff training to recognise good from bad. Please feel free to contact me if you want to discuss.

  This place has grown in size over 20 years. There's a good selection of local food with separate butchers and cheese counter. Restaurant does good bacon sandwiches!
